Ron Friedman, Trumpet 3 in the Chicago Peter Pan orchestra, also paints. He and I have had some nice conversations about art. He lent me a beautiful new book about Pierre-Paul Prud'hon. We agreed that the paintings were dull but some of the drawings were stunning.
