This Japanese photographer Tokihiro Sato made the little orbs in this picture by putting the camera on a very long exposure and reflecting the sun into the camera with a handheld mirror. Since he was always in motion, he doesn't appear in the picture. Then he printed the photo on translucent plastic and hung it in front of flourescent lights. Luminous in every way.
